Wilson Blue Steel 8 – 20lb Surf Light Saltwater 2 Piece Spin Rod

The Blue Steel range of rods from Wilson Fishing are designed to give anglers performance beyond their price and that’s exactly what has been delivered. Constructed on durable carbon fibre blanks and available in an 8’ 6” model or a 10’ model, these surf rods are a fantastic entry level rod into the world of surf fishing. Both models are rated 8-20lb with a PE rating of 1.0 – 4.0 on a 2 piece rod configuration making transportation easy. The 8’6” model has a casting weight rating of 15g – 65g while the 10’ model has a casting weight of 10g – 56g. This rod is perfectly suited to all light to medium beach and rock applications. It will happily throw a light bait for bream, whiting and swallowtail dart or a metal or hardbody lure for tailor or salmon. The Blue Steel rod range has both baitcast models and threadline models and ranges from small water trout models right the way up to serious saltwater popping rods, allowing every angling preference to be catered for.
